Voice Lessons
Singing was my first love, and it remains the foundation of my work as a voice teacher. I bring over thirty years of professional singing experience to my studio, including training at the highest level. Raised in Cincinnati, Ohio - long recognized as a Mecca for great opera singers- I was immersed early in a tradition that values careful training, musical understanding, and long-term vocal health.

The technique I teach comes from a respected lineage beginning with Andrew White, renowned for his ability to help singers develop an even, connected range and a free, comfortable upper register. In this approach, voices are thoughtfully developed over time through clear guidance, healthy habits, and an understanding of how the voice grows. Beauty of tone, consistency throughout the range, and safe, reliable vocal production are central to every lesson. This allows young singers to progress with confidence while protecting their voices as they mature.

In addition to vocal technique, students in my studio develop strong musicianship. Singers learn to read music fluently, build piano skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the music they perform. These skills give students confidence, independence, and versatility across many musical styles, including musical theater, classical repertoire, and contemporary music.

Lessons are relaxed, focused, and highly individualized. I am known for a patient, encouraging approach that helps each student do their best work while maintaining high standards in a positive and supportive environment.
